Universe, Energy & SETI Friday November 30th, 2007 Coast to Coast AM Theoretical physicist Dr. Michio Kaku joined Art Bell for a discussion on a variety of topics, including dark matter, alternative energy, and the SETI program. Kaku described the universe as “overwhelmingly dark,” noting that dark matter makes up about 73% of the total matter/energy content of the universe and is increasing. As this “runaway mode” continues, the stars will move farther apart until Earth’s night sky appears completely dark. Trillions of years from now, Kaku speculated, we will likely freeze to death here unless we can travel to a younger parallel universe. Kaku commented on the automobile industry, plug-in hybrid and fuel cell cars, as well as alternative energy sources. He believes a hydrogen economy will be viable when the rising price of oil meets with the falling price of solar/hydrogen power. Kaku also discussed global warming doomsday scenarios, the dangers of nuclear (fission) power plants, and the potential of ‘hot’ fusion reactors, which he imagines could be operational by 2030. Regarding SETI (Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence), Kaku expressed excitement over the new Allen Telescope Array, built in part by money donated by billionaire Paul Allen. The planned 350-dish array will increase search scans by a factor of 1000, he explained. i like how we allow the elite to dumb us down and use stupidity all the time, cause from what i have just figured out through years of research is that we don’t even need to be burning fossil fuels right now. We have much better BIO-degradable sources such as HEMP (a PLANT!!!) that is 10x better fuel source than OIL – and not only that – our cars can run off WATER!! water is the best FORM of energy on this planet – next to the SUN!!!

and i’m sure it’s MAN MADE right? get real. it’s a NATURAL cycle that is happening on OTHER planets as well and as we move into the new age of acquarius through 2012, then thats when things will start to go back to normal. cooling down.

carbon dioxide causes less global worming than methane.. so technically we can burn it if it becomes a threat. but like I said, plant trees.. plant like hell, blanket the earth.

In the news today: researchers of the Stockholm University, Sweden, have measured increased methane gas levels at the northern Siberia coast. The gas is released due the perma frost ice melting. The temperature in Siberia has risen 4 degrees of Celsius withing a century and resulted perma frost melting in wide areas.
Methane is 20 times more effective green house gas than carbon dioxide. The researchers are worried methane gas increase speeds up global warming.
i luv this stuff, when i was a kid i acctualy tryed to build a time machine kind of like Michio tryed to build a nuclear reactor but i didnt get a harbor schoolarship =/
